Life for the Innocent partners with communities to
rescue, restore and renew
children affected by human trafficking.
LFTI’s Vision
To combat child trafficking in South Asia by bringing holistic opportunities for physical, emotional, and spiritual freedom to children rescued from sex, labor, or organ trafficking.
Our first step is reaching 100,000 boys and girls in this global trafficking hotspot.

Rescue
After each rescue, LFTI facilitates intake services through local agencies, like medical examinations and procuring identification documents.
Restore
If kinship adoption is not possible, each child is matched with vetted parents in our adoption network. All parents are fully vetted and are equipped with 12 months of trauma-informed adoption counseling. So each child goes home with their Forever Family, moves into their room and takes time adjust, and then with one or both parents, come daily to an LFTI transition home.
Renew
LFTI operates over 6 dozen transition homes across South Asia. Through our supporters, we provide them food, clothes, medical care, counseling, and education – ALL in an environment sensitive to the trauma they’ve experienced. Our robust two-year follow-up process ensures ongoing support for kids and parents. Additionally, each child has lifetime access to LFTI trauma counselors so they have every chance to thrive with their families and live with renewed hope.

We aim to operate with a love that is patient, kind, and selfless. We rejoice in the truth that the children we serve hold indescribable value, despite experiencing the evil of abuse. We extend love to them with no expectation or conditions, as Jesus loves each of us.
Safety
LFTI’s work comes with significant risks, so we operate according to several security and confidentiality measures. That is why we do not have staff photos and full names on our website, post photos of rescued children online, or specify all the countries where we work. These protocols are critical to protecting LFTI kids and staff.
Partnership
We are ALL partners in God’s work in the lives of LFTI kids. Your partnership through giving, praying, fundraising, volunteering, attending events, and sharing is why Life for the Innocent continues to thrive.
Unique Solution
Most of the children we serve have been abandoned by their families due to economic hardship or societal norms. Therefore, LFTI’s unique approach is designed to meet their immediate and long-term needs, including adoption. When kinship placement is not possible, each child is eventually adopted into a vetted South Asian family. This stops the cycle of exploitation and ensures lifelong support.
Trauma-Informed Individual Care
Each child’s story is important and deserves individual attention. LFTI provides all children and adoptive parents with lifetime access to trauma-informed counseling free of charge (thanks to our supporters). All counselors have been professionally educated, trained, and licensed. Rescue is only the beginning, and we are committed to walking with children every step of the way.
Humility
LFTI’s mission cannot be accomplished alone. We are constantly learning from the children we serve, our communities, and other nonprofits doing similar work to ensure our services are the best they can be. We uplift all people and organizations focusing on their roles in the fight, and believe we are stronger together.
Care for People
In addition to the kids we serve, LFTI is rooted in genuine care for our staff, donors, and volunteers. We invest in team-building and prioritize the mental and emotional health of our U.S. and South Asian staff, who work hard every day to bring light to dark places. Focus
While trafficking is occurring across the world, LFTI’s unique focus is serving rescued children in South Asia. Our efforts there are led by South Asian staff who understand the complex issues surrounding exploitation in these regions. This sets us up well to fulfill our mission and to have an increasing impact on children in this part of the world.
