Minors in foster care are especially susceptible to being trafficked because of their numerous vulnerabilities. In 2010, of the children reported missing who were likely sex trafficking victims, 60% were in foster care or group homes when they ran away.
This is why our Domestic Initiative is partnering with foster care and adoption services. 57 children in the Colorado foster care system are missing right now. We want to see loving, godly foster and forever families inserted into the lives of American children before they’re preyed upon!
